I got a small boxwood bush this summer and am planning to let it grow as a bonsai tree. Being entirely indoors though I am not sure if I should let it hibernate for the winter. I’ve noticed that suddenly the leaves have dried up and appear dead but are not falling off. I checked the bark underneath and it is still green. What should I do?

No you shouldn’t when spring comes it wil regrow it’s leaves don’t worry

How do I care for a Chinese Elm bonsai tree?

I bought a Chinese Elm bonsai and was wondering if I had to take it outside and when I had to re pot it and whatnot. I’ve also been told I had to soak it for 20 sometimes, do I soak the whole tree or just the roots?

Location: We have a private, ten acre site, in Montgomery County, MD, two miles from exit 22 on interstate 270. 

Date is: May, 17, 18, & 19 (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday).  

Duration: THREE days

Our plan: 25 models & 40 photographers.

Participants must be 18 or older.

There is no guarantee that our event will proceed according to plan.

Our guarantee to you:  Future tickets will be more expensive. If you wait the price will be higher.

Our second guarantee: if the event is cancelled, you get your money back.

Tickets are for entry only, they do not include the cost of models, food, or lodging. Eventbrite fee is extra.  Non-refundable tickets can be transfered to other photographers in good standing. Food will be available to photographers for per day, or for all three days, by advanced payment. (On site food cost will be much higher.)  Within reason, we will try to accomodate the: diabetic, vegan, hyperglosemic, gluton free, carnivore, lactose intolerant, allergic, & grouchy participants. 

It is very likely, but not guaranteed, that low cost group sessions and other features will be available.

Photographers schedule directly with models for one-on-one shoots. Since the models will most likely make all of their money from the one-on-one sessions, photographer must do at least one paid, one-on-one session, with a model of their choosing each day they attend. When booking a model always ask about time lost between shoots. Expect about 50 minutes of shooting time during a one hour time block, and 20 minutes during a half hour time block. Please note that the models set their own prices and payment terms.  Our target is 40 photographer & 20 models each day.
